Eveleigh Farmers’ Markets

Not long after I moved to Alexandria my friend introduced me to the Eveleigh Farmers’ Markets. When I went along with her for the first time I wasn’t expecting to buy anything – it was a nice day and therefore was perfect for a stroll to and around the markets.
I have been back many times since and what I love about them is not only the array of food on offer but the fact that the markets are full of the colour of flowers and fruit and there’s always a performer of some kind serenading the shoppers.

Twilight Food Fair – North Sydney

Every Friday night from 5:30-9:30pm since 5 November (finishing this Friday night) the Civic Centre Park in North Sydney has hosted the Twilight Food Fair, a night food market with international food stalls and live music.
My work colleague and I finally got along on Friday night for dinner after work.
There were a number of food choices including dumplings, Indian, Thai and Gozleme with two dessert options (gelato and chocolate).
