Domino’s Pizza develops crust suitable for those with gluten sensitivity
May 10th
You may not be aware (although it’s hard to miss on Twitter at the moment) but Domino’s USA have released a YouTube video announcing a gluten free crust suitable for those with gluten sensitivity.
Now you will notice I said gluten sensitivity not celiac disease and that is because on the video they have a rather large disclaimer….
I have been reading the debate on Twitter over the last couple of days and finally watched the Domino’s video to make up my own mind.
Many people believe that this is just a money money ploy by Domino’s and they were stupid to make a More >
More gluten free options at Moo Gourmet Burgers
Nov 8th
I thought I had written a post on Moo Gourmet Burgers as I have eaten there a couple of times, though it turns out I haven’t. However now seems like a good time to write a post as Moo Gourmet Burgers has just announced that starting November 7 all their beef burger patties will be gluten free.
This is exciting news for me as whilst I enjoyed the Moo burgers that I had, I was disappointed with the small selection available for us glutards. This change means that starting November 7, 17 of the 20 options can be gluten free when More >
Crust Pizza
Feb 15th
The other night I was craving pizza for dinner but unfortunately could not find a restaurant nearby which had a gluten free option. My friend mentioned there was a Crust Pizza around the corner and that she hadn’t eaten pizza from there before. I immediately said that she had to try it. While I only discovered Crust Pizza after going gluten free (and therefore haven’t tried their glutenous pizza) I was sure she wouldn’t be disappointed.
Not only do Crust Pizza do a gluten free base but they are highly knowledgeable on what toppings are gluten free and what aren’t. You More >
Frozen yoghurt – Wowcow and Pink Guava
Dec 10th
I don’t know if you have noticed but there are a number of frozen yoghurt places popping up as an alternative to gelato and ice cream places.
The frozen yoghurt is a far cry from what I used to make with our Easiyo yoghurt maker, instead of being icy it is very creamy and comes in a number of great flavours. My favourite frozen yoghurt place (of the two I have tried so far) is Wowcow in Darlinghurt. They always have a great range of yoghurt flavours including chocolate, mango and coffee and a number of great toppings. Its also a More >
Sumo Salad

Dietitian Susie Burrell recently released a book ‘Losing the last 5kg‘ which I purchased considering that is exactly (well close to since I want to lose 6) what I have been trying to do for the last 5 months or so. I am only a 1/3 of the way through the book and I already have picked up so many great tips (so much so that I am going to have to read it again and highlight some parts so I can keep coming back to them).
I will complete a review of the book and trial some of the recipes in More >
Boost Juice
Nov 24th
Now that the weather has finally heated up I often find myself craving a Boost Juice. I walk past the one at Chatswood one on a daily basis and have noticed the list of Oriental Delights! flavours. As far as I am aware these are not available at other Boost Juice’s and considering my love of lychee I decided to try one out.
Oriental Delights
I decided on the Lychee Crush, which consists of freshly squeezed orange, lychee, mango, sorbet & ice. While refreshing I was disappointed to find that the crush had a very strong mango flavour which disguised the lychee More >
