Baja Cantina, Glebe – gluten free friendly

I absolutely love Mexican food. The great thing about Mexican is that they often use corn tortilla’s and if not they usually at least have them as an option. So it is not surprising that after the first visit to Baja Cantina in Glebe, where they give you the option of corn or flour tortilla’s, I fell in love. The problem is that in the (many) times that I have been back since my first visit, all but once I have stuck to what I ordered the first time, the steak Fajitas.

Sugar Lounge, Manly Beach

This was another daily deal site purchase – a voucher for a meal at Sugar Lounge at Manly Beach. A couple of friends and I headed down one sunny Sydney day to indulge in some fancy food and drink (well fancier than most of my dining out choices).
First things first – cocktails! I went for the Sangria Royale which is a sangria of white wine, lychee nectar, passion fruit & mint. It was delicious and refreshing – perfect for the day.

The Dip, GOODGOD Bar & Small Club, Sydney

I attended a food blogger dinner at The Dip, an American style restaurant located in GOODGOD Bar. It took me quite awhile to work out where it was since I was looking for The Dip and not GOODGOD but after asking the bouncer I eventually decended the stairs into the eatery.

I am a sucker for daily deal sites – when living in Sydney I signed up to so many of them. To be honest I did buy a few deals that I probably didn’t need, however I did buy a lot that were very useful. Some people say that buying the food deals makes you go out for a meal when you would usually eat at home. However I would eat out anyway, these deal sites just direct me to places I have never eaten before and never thought of trying.

MUMU Grill, Crows Nest

I loved living in Cammeray because it was a short stroll to Crows Nest which contains a number of cute boutique clothes shops as well as wonderful cafes and restaurants. One of the restaurants I managed to get to whilst living in Cammeray was MUMU Grill. More gluten free options at Moo Gourmet Burgers

I thought I had written a post on Moo Gourmet Burgers as I have eaten there a couple of times, though it turns out I haven’t. However now seems like a good time to write a post as Moo Gourmet Burgers has just announced that starting November 7 all their beef burger patties will be gluten free.
