Gluten Free Places

Because I couldn’t possibly blog about each and every place that I eat at that caters for those on a gluten free diet, I have decided to create a list of gluten free places. If you want more information about any of them or want to know of a gluten free friendly place in a specific suburb, just let me know!

Also, let me know of places you have been to that I can add to the list. If you have any feedback on any of the places below, please post your comments in the box provided.

New Zealand

Great Blog! I have been thinking of listing GF eats in my local area – western Sydney. Thanks for your information on great GF places in Sydney. Kate

Thanks Kate – I say go for it! The more information out there the better! I would definitely be interested in your suggestions so I can test them out.

    Hi!

Looks like you have some great suggestions here! Do you have any deeper reviews that I could use on my worldwide gluten free travel site? http://www.travelglutenfree.co.uk

Would love to hear about anywhere, especially if in more ‘touristy’ areas!

    Thanks,

    Mike

      Hi Mike,

Thanks :) I plan to build this list up over time providing more and more information and places all over Sydney (and Australia). However I am happy to write some more in depth reviews for your site. I will get in touch.

I ate at Moo Gourmet Burgers, Newtown yesterday and they have gluten free buns for their burgers. They have marked which burgers are totally gluten free on the menu. There were a few to choose from! The Greek Lamb Burger was delicious.
Unfortunately, the chips are not gluten free.

I have actually eaten at the Moo at Bondi Beach (I had forgotten about it as it was before I started this blog) – the burger I chose wasn’t that great though so I must try the Greek Lamb Burger next time! Thanks for the tip :) Shame about the chips!

Hi, how exciting to see all this info!

    Also check out:
    – Miros (Liverpool St Sydney) – most Tapas are GF.
    – Pymble Gourmet Pizza – accredited, not open Sundays.
    – City Extra (Circular Qy, Sydney) – grilled fish and chips on salad – conflicting info about chips, but seemed ok. Plus cake.
    – ChintaRia (Cockle Bay Darling Hbr, Sydney) – knowledgeable wait-staff can advise.
    – Thai Spice House (Neutral Bay) – both times had minor issue (1. had to replace entree which was not fully cooked. 2. credit-card machine didn’t work).
    – San Churros Northbridge Perth (WA) – has a separate GF list for hotchoc and cake
    – Fit Chips franchise in WA
    – Sorrento Beach Shack (Hillarys WA)
    – Funky Pies (Bondi) – call up in advance for GF as they have it frozen. we didn’t have any.
    – Thanon Khao San (Bondi) – not all staff knowledgeable, but we got something eventually.
