Lifestyle Bakery Chia Seed Rolls – gluten free
I am a big fan of Lifestyle Bakery’s products – especially the Chia Seed loaf. It is the best gluten free bread I have tasted and it doesn’t need to be toasted to be edible.
When you order online with Lifestyle Bakery the postage is free (for certain areas) but you have to buy six products at once. Therefore on my last order I decided to add in a pack of their Chia Seed Rolls. They are a quite pricey at $6.05 for four rolls, however I don’t eat bread rolls that often and therefore could justify the purchase.
The other day when I got home from a kayak race I was starving and decided to make myself a chicken burger (with the chicken patties I made last week).I had also made some chilli jam the day before and thought that this would go quite nicely on the burger.
So I lightly toasted a chia seed roll and then grilled some cheese on top (I find toasting it first helps as otherwise they don’t toast right through). I then added some chilli jam, a heated chicken pattie and lettuce. Other things you could add include beetroot and tomato, however I didn’t have these in the house at the time.
The burger was delish! It would also taste really good with a meat pattie.. mmm might have to try that next time!
What do you crave after doing exercise?
