Lyne Park Cafe, Rose Bay
What better way to spend your Sunday morning than a kayak on Sydney harbour followed by lunch and gossip at Lyne Park Cafe? Well I can tell you it doesn’t get much better!
As you may have guessed that is how I spent yesterday, a leisurely paddle followed by a delicious roast vegetable and haloumi salad and chai latte.
Even if you don’t fancy going for a kayak (info about kayak hire here) or playing tennis first, Lyne Park Cafe is in a beautiful setting and has delicious food and drinks. The cafe is part of the tennis club which is based on New South Head Rd in Rose Bay.
I also happened to notice that most of the cakes in the cabinet were gluten free which is great to know! And for those lucky enough to be able to eat gluten the corn fritters with bacon and avocado looked amazing and were given two thumbs up!
What more can I say except this cafe is a must visit.

The salad looks good but was there just the one piece of halloumi or was it all mixed through? I love halloumi so much

There were three bits of haloumi
I love it too! I should have tossed the salad before taking the photo – plenty of the yummy stuff underneath the lettuce!
