MUMU Grill, Crows Nest
I loved living in Cammeray because it was a short stroll to Crows Nest which contains a number of cute boutique clothes shops as well as wonderful cafes and restaurants. One of the restaurants I managed to get to whilst living in Cammeray was MUMU Grill. I received an email voucher from them for my birthday offering 50% off my bill so I rushed off to MUMU to have a final horrah with a friend before coming over to Canada.
We arrived a little early so took advantage of their bar area to have a glass of wine. Whilst sitting there we got to indulge in some of their complimentary tapas which they offer during happy hour (5:30pm-6:30pm).
The waiter was very clued up on gluten free options and my friend and I ended up ordering a couple of dishes to share including a steak – as you cannot visit MUMU Grill, Sydney’s only sustainable steakhouse, without getting a steak!
Both the steak and lamb dishes were absolutely amazing, they were perfectly tender and had so much flavour. The mixed vegetables were also delicious.
We couldn’t stop ourselves there and had to try a dessert. We decided on the passionfruit pavlova which was yummo!
I definitely recommend this restaurant so if you want to check it out head to 70 Alexander Street, Crows Nest and you can find out more information about the restaurant here.

Isn’t it great when staff know about gluten free and safe preparation. It just makes the whole dining out thing a pleasure and you can breathe a sigh of relief and enjoy your night
