I got glutened and it’s my own fault!

I sit here writing this post from my bed. It’s 9:39pm and I have been in bed since 4:30pm. My tonsils are so big it hurts to swallow and I feel like I have been in a boxing match where I lost, severely.
I used to get sick like this all the time before I was diagnosed with coeliac disease and I am starting this think that my immune system is a wreck again.
Why? Because I have been slack. Many of those out there with coeliac disease will think I am stupid. I am stupid.

Celiac Awareness Month

I am going to take a moment here to let you all know that it is Celiac Awareness Month in Canada and the US (possibility other countries as well…).
I personally believe that we need to raise a lot more awareness about celiac disease and the symptoms to look out for. Whilst there is a lot more awareness than there was when I was diagnosed in 2009 there is still a long way to go.

Domino’s Pizza develops crust suitable for those with gluten sensitivity

You may not be aware (although it’s hard to miss on Twitter at the moment) but Domino’s USA have released a YouTube video announcing a gluten free crust suitable for those with gluten sensitivity.
Now you will notice I said gluten sensitivity not celiac disease and that is because on the video they have a rather large disclaimer….
