Mamak Chatswood

I had always wanted to try Mamak in the city however never made it there and didn’t really fancy having to queue for hours outside. If you haven’t heard of Mamak it is a Malaysian restaurant which is renowned for having amazing food, hence the constant queue to get a seat!

Espresso Zarcino, Chatswood Chase

If you are after a sweet gluten free treat in Chatswood you have quite a few choices, one being Espresso Zarcino in Chatswood Chase.
Espresso Zarcino has a huge range of hot and cold drinks, sweet treats and savory items, however unfortunately they do not have any savory gluten free choices.
As I try and avoid buying sweet treats too often I have only tried the orange and almond cake at Zarcino. The cake, which is dairy and gluten free, is very moist and, well, tastes delicious!

Someone’s birthday at work is always an anticipated day as everyone else in the office gets to celebrate with them by eating cake. However, this can become a problem when you are coeliac.
